We were delighted to take part in the inaugural Independent Paper Show (IPS) which took place in London 12-13 June 2024.
The event was held at the iconic Crypt on the Green in Clerkenwell, a location aptly chosen not only for its position in the very heart of London’s creative design community but also because Clerkenwell has long been a centre of radical thought, drawing on a skilled artisanal population of watchmakers and printers going back to the 14th Century.
The event was organised and expertly managed by Foilco, who’s aim was to bring together the UK’s leading luxury paper and foil suppliers to showcase their products to London’s amazing designers, brands, printers, students and lovers of paper.
Unlike exhibitions which take place in large arena’s such as London’s Exel or the NEC, the organisers set out to create an informal space where paper suppliers and visitors could meet in a relaxed, friendly environment to network, showcase their portfolios and share information.
The result was a wonderful success – 280 visitors attended on Wednesday and while Thursday wasn’t as busy, there was a steady flow of visitors throughout the day.
We couldn’t have been happier to be part of this incredible event which we hope will continue for many more years!
