We are pleased to announce the addition our new Lemu re-reeling line. This was been quickly installed and is already operational thanks to chief engineer Kevin Duffin and his team.
It has been a busy period for the team as they have recently installed a second scalloping machine for border rolls and are installing a fourth embossing line. Further investments are already planned as we continue to improve and expand our capabilities.
Our Lemu will complement our existing re-reeling lines and means we have greater capacity and enhanced flexibility. These lines convert our master rolls into smaller counter rolls, typically 10m to 50m in length. Initially, this will be a great help with our Education markets as demand for tailor made assorted packs increases year on year.
As the Lemu rewinds up to 1170mm wide and can wind paper upwards of 30gsm we are already looking at opportunities in other markets such as lightweight papers used in food packaging. The Lemu also gives us more options in how finished rolls can be presented meaning we can offer more products without any plastic wrapping.
Please contact us to find out more or to discuss any re-reeling, converting or paper finishing enquiries you may have.
